Today, Lt. Gov. Mark Hutchison addressed the Associated General Contractors Nevada chapter at their construction economic outlook breakfast in Reno.

"What a great time to be a Nevadan," said Lt. Gov. Mark Hutchison. "Our employment rate is at the lowest it's been since the recession hit and the construction industry saw the highest employment growth of all employment sectors in October. By remaining a business friendly state and continuing to be vigilant in bringing new companies here quickly, our great state will only become greater. Today we see a strong Nevada, tomorrow I see an even stronger Nevada."

“We are excited to say that the construction industry in Northern Nevada appears to be rebounding,” said Justin Ivory, 2015 AGC President and President of A-1 Steel. “Private investments, such as Tesla and Switch, have been a nice shot to the arm. The new growth will test our public infrastructure. We are looking forward to working with our public sector partners to ensure adequate resources are in place to respond to these challenges. AGC thanks Lieutenant Governor Hutchison for participating in this event. In his role on the Transportation Board and the Economic Development Board, he plays an integral role in the investment in Nevada’s future and infrastructure.”
